Toronto is one of Canada's premier cities. It's a great place to catch a live show or to shop (if you're into that) or to visit one of North America's largest Asian districts - a great place to get a good chinese meal - or Vietnamese, too.

If you're interested in staying downtown and want a less expensive option to the downtown hotels, you might want to look for a bed and breakfast. Downtown Toronto has many nice ones. You should have a good chance of finding something you'd like at BBCanada.

You'll often encounter various street performers in downtown Toronto. We found this fellow along Yonge Street.	You'll find various arts and crafts at Harbour Centre along the waterfront in Toronto. You can watch the glass blowers making cool vases or see the potters at work.
This is a view of the Toronto skyline from a water taxi returning from Centre Island.	Each summer there are dragon boat races held on Centre Island in Toronto, Canada. Centre Island draws huge crowds in the summer. There's an amusement park with rides for little kids, walking trails along the waterfront, and kayaking in the waterways in and around the islands. My advice is - if you're heading over to Centre Island, take a water taxi rather than the crowded ferry. It'll only cost you a few dollars more and you won't wait in line (or wait as long) and the ride's far more comfortable. You'll find them just southwest of the ferry dock.
