Sequoia National Park has an abundance of wildlife.
Park officials and lodging employees warn people to leave absolutely no food
or food containers in vehicles - that bears will do a great deal of damage
to a car attempting to reach food inside. If you spend much time hiking the
trails of Sequoia National Park, you have a pretty good chance of seeing
bear and deer.
This bear was seen while walking the Congress Trail
As I approached to photograph this
small bear, I was careful that the Mama bear wasn't lurking nearby
It was at this point that I thought
I might be getting just a tad too close.
A last photo before the tide swept in This was just a couple of the many
deer we saw while hiking in Sequoia
