The beach at Seal Rock State Park on Oregon's coast
Later I'll show photos of the
tidepools along this stretch of the Oregon coast. They're beautiful! |

The beach at Seal Rock State Park, south of Newport,
Oregon
This particular spot is under water
when the tide comes in. Between here and the rocks off shore you can frequently
see seals popping up for a breath of air. |
Sea Lions on the Oregon coast, just north of Sea Lion
Caves
You can see these sea lions from a US101
scenic turnoff, just north of Sea Lion Caves. Many people don't even notice them
from the vantage point high above. Instead, their attention is often drawn to the
nice view of Haceta Lighthouse, just north.

A baby seal sleeping on Neskowin Beach
This little guy was sleeping. He's
not abandoned - the mother will return. So I grabbed a quick picture and moved
on so I wouldn't interfere.
