Oregon's coast is absolutely beautiful. Some of the beaches are sandy, some rocky, but the entire stretch from north to south has beautiful scenery. And it's possible to find some of the most outstanding tidepools you can see anywhere. They're loaded with anemones, starfish, hermit crab and other little critters. I'd highly recommend you visit someday if you can.
