I have three pages of photos of Death Valley. On this page, I have
several photos taken along Highway 190. Starting from the Beatty Cutoff,
I worked my way south. On the next page, I have photos of the Racetrack
and its moving rocks and the drive along the way.
I hope you enjoy my photos of Death Valley.

If you're old enough, you'll remember TV ads for Twenty Mule Team
Borax. This is a photo of the wagons used to haul the refined borax that
was mined in Death Valley.

On Badwater Road just north of the side road to
the Artists Palette sits Mushroom Rock, visible to the east from the road as
you drive by.

This is the Devil's Golf Course. It's worth the 5-10
minute diversion to check it out. This is in the vicinity of the lowest spot
in North America and is a pretty inhospitable place in the summer time. In
the spring of 2005, it was full of briny water from spring rain.

I couldn't resist showing one more photo of wildflowers
and mountains. This photo was taken near the end of March and many of the mountains
were still snow covered.
